Assembly & Worship

Children participate in assembly or worship each morning at 11.30am.

Twice a term we hold a sharing assembly or achievement assembly to which parents are invited. Each class takes it in turn to share with the school some of the work that they have been completing. At achievement assembly children are given merit for good work or behaviour.

Church School

Bisley Blue Coat is a Church of England school. We are fortunate to be located adjacent to All Saints Church, which allows us easy access to the church and its environs.

Termly church services are held, celebrating Harvest, Christmas, Easter and our special Leavers' Service in July. Our main church service is on Ascension Day when we celebrate the gift of water by dressing the Bisley Wells.

Children lead these services and make their own special contributions.

As a church school we undergo a Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) which looks at our Christian distinctiveness and ethos. For our latest inspection report, please go to Key Information/ SIAMS.
