Ascension Day Thursday 30th May 2019
Marquee to be erected at Village Hall on Wednesday 29th May at 6pm.
The creation of the figures that adorn the wells will take place on Wednesday 29th May from 1.30pm on the school grounds.
The service will commence at 1.30pm in All Saints Church and will be led by Reverend Sue Murray, Vicar of Bisley.
The procession will start at approximately 2.00pm and will end with a service at the Wells. Teas will be served in the school hall after the service at the wells.
This day is organised and managed by the PTA on behalf of the school and local community.
We ask that the route of the procession be kept free of cars between 2pm and 3pm. The procession will start at the school, travel down School Road to the Bear Inn, down George Street to the shop, then along the High Street and finally down Wells Road to the Wells.
Please do not park in the Bear Inn car park. There will be no parking available at the WI village hall.
Fireworks Night Saturday 3rd November 2018
A spectacular display of fireworks will be filling the night sky with colour and light in Bisley on Saturday November 3rd.
The annual event, organised by Bisley Bluecoat Parent Teachers’ Association and held at the George V Pleasure Grounds in Van der Breen Street, will also feature a fire show from Circus Uncertainty before the main fireworks display.
The gates open at 5.30pm and the pyrotechnic display will start at around 6pm, after which the fireworks display will begin. Refreshments, including burgers and sausages, hot drinks and mulled wine will be available and there will be a bar.
Tickets cost £5 for adults, £3 per child and £15 for a family of two adults and three children.
It’s also possible to pre-purchase tickets from George Stores in Bisley up until Friday November 3 to fast track the queue and gain automatic entry into a raffle to be drawn on the night.
Everyone at the school is enjoying our new outdoor spaces. As Spring turns to Summer we will really be able to utilise the areas.
Our thanks go to GCC, The Big Lottery and friends of Lyn Hemming who enabled this work to be completed.
